@jake4480 I played it a lot on our sega as a child, bought it again on Steam last year. Was so hard, I have no clue how we beat it as kids with no option to save😅 Old games are really difficult I think, they are just so unforgiving. Do you play a lot of games in general?
@antoniav 🤣😂 I do! My wife is VERY good at games (she's big on Zelda, Mario etc) but she doesn't play much anymore - or lately - but yeah, my favorites are Diablo, shooters, arcade games, roguelikes - my favorite game is Centipede haha. I have a 16yo son who loves games too - we like very different ones 🤣 he's super into anime ones, jrpgs, I'm not. But we play Mario Kart, fighting games like Street Fighter or beatemups - and I got him into weird ones like Escapists and the GREAT roguelike Death Road to Canada, which is SUPER fun. How about you, what kinds are your favorites or have you played recently?
@jake4480 Sadly it's a bit hard to make gaming friends when you start at my age, but I imagine I would quite like coop multiplayer too in a lot of games if I had anyone to play with.
@antoniav ohh okay yeah you mentioned Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect - I bet you'd like Breath of the Wild. It's similar to Elder Scrolls, in my opinion. Or Baldur's Gate. Since you liked Mass Effect maybe Warframe or Cyberpunk? I think third have a lot of co-op - Diablo II and III especially have a TON of co-op all my friends on Twitter had been trying to get me to do rifts with them 🤣
@jake4480 I'm fairly new to gaming, took it up during covid lockdown, so I'm still trying lots of different stuff to see what I like. I quite enjoyed the Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls games, loved the Shelock Holmes games, but I mostly play base building, puzzle, management, factory and city builder type of games. Have played a lot of Oxygen Not Included, Dyson Sphere Program and Planet Crafter lately.
@antoniav oh nice! Have you tried any of the newer SimCity games or Cities: Skylines? I've loved SimCity since I was a kid in school - and recently did SimCity on my phone and DS too- I just grabbed Skylines the other day which is supposed to be SUPER realistic - gotta figure out how I'm gonna plan my city haha. Or maybe Spore? That was another cool one.
@jake4480 No, I haven't tried SimCity, tried a little bit of Skylines, but didn't really get the hang of it. I was very new to gaming at that point though, so might give it another try now. Played a lot of Spore with my youngest nephew, he loves that, until a certain stage anyway😅
