I played through the complete Diablo 3 game on a non gaming laptop at 15-23 fps. Amazing game, no regrets.

Nowadays I play most games at 120 fps because I see no reason to limit the smoothness to just 60. It comes down to choice and how you are used to. Generally I think 3rd person action adventures are OK at 60 fps.

30 fps no thanks. I am way past the tolerance required for that.
