Just started with #Sifu. Looks interesting so far. But I don't know if I'm able to play this through. Looks like a gane you're unable to finish if you don't play it in 1-3 sessions that aren't spaced out widely.

And as I seemingly can't save in levels I can't play it casually but have to take my time for it. Could be problematic.

I guess I should've started it on Xbox instead of PlayStation so I could make use of Quick Resume. (It still drives me nuts, that 3½ years after the release of the Xbox Series X no other platform has something like Quick Resume. 🙃

Oof. I guess I'm just not good enough for this game. I play on easy and I'm already at age 28 after the second boss.

The timeframe for a parry is so extremely short that I barely parry at all.

Will try it again this weekend or Monday morning, but I guess if it not clicks then I have to admit the game is awesome, but I'm not. At least in this game. 😅

donnyglover,

@kaiserkiwi Each level is about 20 minutes long and the game saves between levels. I think it's perfect for small sessions like one or two levels at a time.

In reality it's always the club level though ;)

@donnyglover About 30 Minutes for me. I'm really bad. 😅 Finished thr second boss and I'm already 28 years old. On easy…

With this difficulty I would be never able to play the launch version. 😅

@kaiserkiwi what is quick resume?

@chrisonline Quick Resume holds a bunch of games in their current state on disk.

For example: I play Cyberpunk and a friend asks me if I want to play Sea of Thieves, I can immediately switch over even if I'm in a situation where I can't save. I can play Sea of Thieves for a few hours and switch back to Cyberpunk. After about 6 seconds (depends on the game, 6 seconds is the longest I've ever had to wait) I'm directly in the spot I was before.

That's one part.

Quick Resume can hold up to 6 Series X games and depending on their requirements 10-20 Xbox One games (or even more Xbox 360 or Orginal games). So I can easily switch between multiple games.

One essential part for me is: I can power off the console completely. I even can remove the power cord for an unlimited time. And there's no time limit how long a game is saved there either. It falls out if too many games get on top and you never started it again.

This feature alone is the reason the Xbox is still here despite the fact I prefere to play on PlyStation this generation.

One limitation: Online-Games. Here it depends on the time out of the game itself. But at least you don't have to restart the game completely but get back to the lobby.

@kaiserkiwi Wow this is a awesome feature.
I was happy on the #PS5 that this is possible at least with the current game.

Now I want also a quick resume on #ps5 😛
