@beardedtechguy here's my phone, mac, and desktop. my linux laptops (and linux install on this mac) just use the stock KDE taskbar with a pretty similar app selection to my desktop (probably minus steam though)

the task bar on my desktop showing the menu, edge, vesktop, dolphin, thunderbird, linear, warp, vscode, and steam. followed by a global menu, a space, then the workspace page, system tray, and clock.
