Linda³ Again , a Japan only role-playing game for the PSX has finally been translated into English. This is a Shoji Masuda game , if you're into obscure RPGs from Japan you may have played one of his titles , some of the more well known ones are Hero must die and the first 2 Tengai Makyou games.
This is his attempt at making a psycho thriller Noah's Ark RPG with 3 different scenarios , each with its own unique timeline.
Having a hard time finding a written guide/route notes for #speedrun of #ResidentEvil2 (1998) Leon A; they're all like three to four hour long video guides. I suspect the discords have written guides but I don't want to join yet another discord just yet.
So I'm just watching a run and making my own notes!
(PS the video guides look good but it's hard for my ADHD brain to focus on them, that's why I'm looking for written notes)
oh noes
some thoughtless lizardman hath accidentally patched #ultima underworld (JP) for the #PSX with the english translation patch released yesterday, and then carelessly converted it to a #PSP eboot so you can enjoy it on your handheld device
@retronianne this game is so full of Easter eggs that when you play it again for the umpteenth time, you remember something new every single playthrough. Classic among classics, #castlevaniasotn
The original #SegaCD version of #Lunar The Silver Star remains far and away my favorite version. I dislike the story changes the made to Silver Star Remake, and prefer the battle system of the original. Most importantly, I think the original Sega CD opening video completely, utteraly blows away the #PSX and #SegaSaturn opening videos.
There exists on an OST in japan a very rare full length rendition of the JPN version of the sega CD opening that completely 100% rules: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6QY1vxo_EQ
@OutofPrintArchive it probably comes down to which version you played first, but Silver Star vs Silver Star Story Complete is so different in a death by a thousand cuts way. Lots of small changes which really add up to me preferring the sega cd version. Like the battle theme, I absolutely love the sega cd battle theme. There is indeed a really huge storage change they make midway through which impacts things, but I'd say the minor changes irk me more.
The #3DO version is my fave, followed by Road Rash 3D on #PSX for the ability to just drive anywhere and enjoy the map, and lastly the #SEGA#MasterSystem port for the sheer technical wizardry for the hardware.
