There's a wonderful new video by John Linneman over at Digital Foundry on the history of a bike racing franchise with a touch of frantic head bashing and side kicking action... Yes of course it's Road Rash.

Goes into a lot of detail on the series including the platforms, graphics, sound, music and of course comparisons.

The #3DO version is my fave, followed by Road Rash 3D on #PSX for the ability to just drive anywhere and enjoy the map, and lastly the #SEGA #MasterSystem port for the sheer technical wizardry for the hardware.
