Before joining #Fosstodon, I was on another instance. There I was getting messages in multiple languages from all over the world, which I can't understand. I switched only because I don't want to see non-English posts on my timeline. Now I realised that I had made the correct decision.
What is your favourite #fdroid app? Would be interested if I can discover a few new cool apps, I missed until now. Thank you already for sharing! @fdroid
@kirschner
Tor browser, due to heavy traffic, sometimes becomes slow & due to security reasons could not load the websites. Mull able to load such websites quickly. @fdroid
@libreoffice
Noted. The first thing to do after going back home later today is to download and install LibreOffice 7.6. Thank you team for your efforts.
@itsfoss
Not interested in Non LTS versions. Currently I am using Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS and shall wait for 24.04.1 LTS update which will release next year.
@itsfoss
Definitely one of the best articles written for #ubuntu OS in recent times. Thank you team. But you have added Chrome and Brave in the browsers category but not #firefox and #librewolf. That's a little bit surprising.
Every article on this blog was written by a human ✍️
Or Joey 💁🏻♂️ 😉
AI-written content is on the rise (and there are places where it has a role) but I want to make my position clear.
If you read about an app, distro update, or anything else on my site(s), it'll be written (however badly) by a real person.
Any editorialising, opinion, or framing (e.g., it's great, it's bad, newbie's will love it, etc) comes from a human mind, not an AI trying to write something that "sounds" convincing.
@omgubuntu
Your articles are written so badly that we can easily understand that it's written by a real person. AI can't write something in such bad words.
Still we love you and your bad contents. Keep posting.
@itsfoss
Hope, at least this will succeed. Remember Indian alternate to WhatsApp called 'Sandes' was developed just a couple of years back. Forget using it, nobody even remembers it now.
@itsfoss
Although a large variety of FOSS are easily available on Linux, some of the popular softwares which are otherwise available on windows and ios are not available for linux. Installing those softwares on Linux with Wine is a nightmare.
@itsfoss
It won't happen anytime soon. A couple of years back, the Indian government had launched their own Linux based OS called BOSS with the same purpose. Nobody used that OS and later it was abandoned.
