these light bulbs seem like they have internally corrupted state since they’re not pairing to anything at all
they’re zigbee bulbs and my zigbee hub for RPi/ just came in today
they just hang forever on “Starting interview”
anyone got any tips?

@niko @homeassistant I need to get things super-close to the ZigBee antenna to pair - like a couple of cm away. This can be pretty inconvenient for bulbs. Sometimes I just plug the Raspberry Pi into a USB battery and hold it under the light fitting.

Dear @homeassistant users, do you have any smart light bulb to recommend that works fully locally and it integrates with ? I am open to WiFi and Zigbee variants.

I just ran into a WiFi-based TP-Link Tapo bulb for half of its usual price. I bet it phones to the headquarters. It'd be great if it can be flashed with a libre firmware. Any thoughts?

@chrisgerhard @mdimjasevic @homeassistant I've got 6 Innr bulbs and I've had no problems with them. Also got a few IKEA bulbs. All of these are using ZigBee with zigbee2mqtt

Science/coastal hivemind, I need your help. We’re working on the underwater acoustics of small all-electric boats (almost certainly far less underwater noise pollution than engines). We would like to do some trials - just measuring the sound near an electric boat - but we’re struggling to find someone in (or very near) the UK who has an electric boat we could use/hire. Has anyone got any ideas or know anyone who owns an electric boat?
