We'll be blacklisting mailbox.org and websites using it for email hosting for registration on discuss.grapheneos.org and as an alert email for attestation.app. They're blocking emails from our mail server for a convoluted, nonsensical reason and won't stop.

@GrapheneOS Hey there, how did things get out of hand so quickly? After the inital contact from your Community Manager a few days ago, we did offer our help and would have loved to stay in touch. Instead, you make us look like we didn't care. Which is obviously not the case.

@GrapheneOS and @mailbox_org has in common. If you configure the spam settings accordingly (details in the screenshot) the registration mail arrives just fine. We sincerely hope this will help your community!

I've had my corporate email handled via both #GMail and #O365 for many years now and I can say with utmost confidence that both are HORRIBLE AS FUCK email services.
Including randomly deleting incoming email because "deduplication" etc.

I'd never accept that level of "service" for my personal email.

I truly do not understand why businesses do.

What’s everyone’s go to email service these days? iCloud Mail (app and service) is fine for my needs but the spam protection is tuned way too high (things constantly going to spam folders and needing to be moved out) and search is just atrocious. Gmail will do as well but that’s a bit boring. Anyone have any hidden gems? I’ve been playing with Skiff, Protonmail, HEY, Outlook … all around the houses.

👉 Für Geschäftskunden kann die derartige (wenn auch ungewollte) Speicherung personenbezogener Daten übrigens ein bußgeldbelegter DSGVO-Verstoß darstellen.
