I am so sorry for everyone on the Fediverse who has to deal with the enormous amount of spam the past few days♥️

Most admins and mods are trying to deal with it as fast as possible but the issue is that the spam comes from so many smaller instances that we simple need to limit the instances or ban individual spam accounts otherwise they would lose all connections on a full ban.. that’s not what we want

We are working hard on the issue! :blobfoxdetective:

mahenderkar,

@stux hCaptcha yes. The more smart our owner is, the healthier the instance.

Here’s the deal: We stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential.

mahenderkar,

@Strandjunker Here's another deal. Stop shaming at all.

"Other books you might enjoy"
Hey I know that guy

mahenderkar,

@BrodieOnLinux Tbh I don't recommend physical copies of books in this modern era, especially when the author is a YouTuber himself. You're just wasting trees & promoting deforestation & global warming.
I prefer kindle eReaders. Good for eyes. Feels lightweight, big enough, can store millions of books & very battery efficient.

mahenderkar,

@TheFrenchGhosty @BrodieOnLinux Yes. Both are environmentally invasive. But you don't understand the situation here. It's like you're comparing oranges to apples.
Information is information whether it's on paper or screen. We're saving millions of trees by accessing all of the information in devices. CO2 emissions are already high & recently it's been decreasing from the last 2 decades.

Both cases have pros and cons. We can go over all of those but we get to nowhere with it.

mahenderkar,

@TheFrenchGhosty @BrodieOnLinux Environment doesn't care about the terms "good" or "bad" they're the terms we created. Environment only cares about homeostasis (balance of the resources). With the current literate population, if you go replace all the online information with physical books, guess what'll happen ? There'll be no trees present on Earth.

Following Google Maps directions in rural Tasmania and encountered this sign.

mahenderkar,

@MikeElgan If I see this sign, I get a lot more curious to go that route lmao.

being an octopus would be amazing until you had to challenge someone to a duel imagine slapping them across the face with your beautiful strong tentacle but your suction cup suckers get stuck on their damn smug head & you have to stand there awkwardly pulling them off one by one the "shklup" sound alone would destroy all dignity

mahenderkar,

@ElleGray Or you can be eaten alive. Yummy.

I am finally the proud owner of a Tesla Cybertruck. It's incredible. Drove over a puddle this morning and only three of the doors have begun to rust. One door impressively remains rust-free. A butterfly flew into the windshield, which created severe cracks but it did NOT break. Little guy flew off like it was nothing. Men respect my vehicle and women want to sleep with it. Downloaded a sweet software patch that keeps the A/C running full blast 24/7. Well worth the $100k.

mahenderkar,

@lowqualityfacts Don't buy that minecraft POS.

@mahenderkar take the anarchist out of your bio

mahenderkar,

@SallyStrange Yep. I forgot changing that I've set it during my account creation. I do like to see central / state governments fall in the rise of local governance. But I still want Capitalism to exist. Not sure it's a thing that could happen, but the dream world that I wanna live in.

mahenderkar,

@SallyStrange Because people get used to it. Capitalism basically makes us robots to sustain our livelihood. Caz it doesn't care why & how you're earning though. It depends on one's ethics & morals.

mahenderkar,

@SallyStrange Yup. You can say that. Human errors are the major source of failure. Automating how we earn, leads us survive the best. Which is what capitalism is.

mahenderkar,

@SallyStrange No need to prove anything because you're right.
Maybe I've missed your question before. Can you mention which reply was that ? I'll try to relook into it & answer. (btw I never delete anything that I wrote)
And yup. My replies typically has nothing to do with what you said. Because same goes to your remarks.

mahenderkar,

@SallyStrange Was that "cruel" part or "voluntary basis" part ?

mahenderkar,

@SallyStrange About Capitalism being forced onto people without their consent ?

mahenderkar,

@SallyStrange Yes I confirm that I wrote it. But it doesn't mean I support it. I've just got accepted it because there's no other alternative to Capitalism.
Anarchy is the rejection of systemic governance on a bigger national scale. But that doesn't mean it also rejects local governance.
Cruelty is a feeling btw. It only exists in the existence of authoritarian regimes.
Can you once lookup into the current Indian governance ? You would understand my situation btw.

mahenderkar,

@passenger Oh you have misunderstood me mate. I don't feel cruel in the current government. I've said the ones who are poor, with no capitalistic knowledge might feel cruel.
I'm not poor btw. Just a decent middle class fella living peacefully.

mahenderkar,

@RD4Anarchy You shouldn't just declare something wrong. Should also try to correct wouldn't you?

mahenderkar,

@RD4Anarchy I can understand that Anarchy & capitalism oppose each other. But there's also anarco-capitalism.

I do like the local governance, whether the anarchic philosophy rejects it or not.

mahenderkar,

@RD4Anarchy Ya I apologise though. I have edited the previous reply. I do am poor in political history. I did change it to capitalist since being anarchic is impossible in my current society though.

mahenderkar,

@RD4Anarchy I believe you. All these niches we have to avoid is what you're saying ?

Capitalism will not fix capitalism.

mahenderkar,

@hosford42 Yup. Capital makes capital. Poverty makes poverty.

mahenderkar,

@hosford42 Expensive because of the time it takes to financially improve from the groundup. From there, it increases rather exponentially, then falls back logarithmically. It's a Gaussian Normal Distribution curve.
The hardest phases are always the initial & the final phase. Majority of the peeps in our society are enjoying the middle phase where the growth is peak. Which is why the capitalism works.

mahenderkar,

@hosford42 The perfect index would be somewhere in the middle i.e 0.5.
Because a country only thrives if people with both types of financial situations exist.
Take a magnet as an example. It works only if both poles exist. If all the power concentrated into the center, by eliminating north & south poles, the magnet simply doesn't exist or ceases to work.
TL;DR: Income inequality is the fundamental requirement for the thriving & contributing society. Even if it sounds cruel, but it's the truth.
