Also, read the books. They are brilliant. If you think you are not in the target demographic, just ignore that. They are brill stories and have characters from teens to pensioners. I reread all six last year. Bloody marvellous 😊
The US election is going to be so close that even if about 2% of likely voters don't vote for Trump now, he’s a convicted felon, that'll be enough to swing close States to Biden.
I'm not the originator of this idea. It's articulated by several commentators with way more insight and knowledge than me.
But they all also say that in November, the non-MAGA US populace has to get out and vote in such numbers that the MAGAs can’t prevent their loss via vote suppression measures.
Some cybersecurity sources are suggesting that the TicketMaster breach looks suspicious and could be a law enforcement honey trap. See link below.
If that’s true then the targeting of my TicketMaster account and email address used there over the last day would be a coincidence. I suspect it isn’t. Ticketmaster hasn’t confirmed the breach yet AFAIK.
It turns out I can create unlimited unique email addresses on the email service I host my domain. This means I can create a separate email address for every service I need a login for. So when they get breached, I don't have to worry about my email address being harvested and used for annoying spam signups.
I'll do that over time. Using random names for the name part of the email address.
Okay. It’s starting to look like whoever is messing with my email address is someone who knows me. They just tried to sign me up to the Ulster Unionist Party.

It's weird hearing the ambulance sirens on the cricket commentary and in real-time from my desk.
I was given out caught behind at Stormont one night as an ambulance was passing. The bloody umpire gave me out when there was no way he could have heard a thin nick over the noise of the siren about 80m away on the road. I didn’t hit it!
I’m going to rejoin the local cricket club as a non-playing member.
Playing again would be madness. Watching from the bar with a pint is much more sensible.
I might also join the NICSSA Chess club in addition to the cricket club.
They also have other clubs such as rugby, hockey, tennis, football, athletics, archery, fencing, bowling, squash, table tennis, golf, and rambling. 14 different clubs in total. The rambling one might be worth looking into as well.
Wolfram live stream their language design sessions. Some of the discussions get salty. Such as Stephen Wolfram telling people he doesn’t like something. A new one has just started. They are also available on demand.
