@linmob I just shouldn't have used the SPI at all, don't think there is anything that can save my device now tbh. As far as I can tell my SPI or the software on it is dead but still has the highest boot priority and I can't get the laptop to connect to another computer so I am essentially stuck with a dead and as far as I can tell unchangeable boot device. I thought about removing the chip entirely but I have no idea how the Pinebook would react to that so I just concluded it's junk now. :(

TW Mysogynie und Mobbing in der eigenen Partei.

Ich habe extrem lang geschwiegen. Kein schlechtes Bild nach außen, nichts negatives, alles ausblenden, nichts zulassen. Ihnen keinen Raum und keine Aufmerksamkeit für ihr Mobbing geben. Doch ich kann nicht mehr, und es wird Zeit, das öffentlich zu machen und sich zu wehren. Trotzdem muss ich betonen, dass es extrem viele Menschen in der Partei quer in Bundesgebiet gibt, die mich unterstützen, insbesondere mein eigener Landesverband in Sachsen und Kreisverband in Dresden, die mir extrem den Rücken stärken.

Der Post hier ist nur die Spitze eines Eisberges. Gepostet vom Landesvorsitzenden (!) Brandenburg, geliked von den Vorsitzenden (!) von Hessen und Baden-Württemberg. Inzwischen gelöscht. (1/x)

@stillnotlovin Ich will ja eigentlich wirklich nicht das schlechteste vermuten aber nach dem Rücktritt von Julia Reda vor ein par Jahren hat das Bild noch einen ganz anderen aber ähnlich ekelhaften Beigeschmack für mich! Viel kraft und hoffentlich kann die Piraten Partei solche inneren Probleme irgendwann über winden auch wenn ich leide meine Zweifel habe! :/

That latest boost (https://fosstodon.org/@JayLittle/110823175477156355) is one of these that need to be done for completeness sake and it does not reflect my views on @purism, which I respect greatly for their massive investment in #MobileLinux.
That said, changing refund policies retroactively is never a good or even okay move, as it is just hostile to customers.

@linmob @purism Their way of shipping or more like not shipping some users devices for years isn't great ether and the US version seemed to me like a strange attempt to make easy money from rather uncool parts of that population (conspiracy theorists, nationalists and similar). I think they just took on too big of a challange for such a small company with the Librem 5 and while I am thankful for everything they have done I never recommended anyone to actually buy one! :(

@mike I wouldn't mind if the hashtags moved somewhere else and/or changed color to something that doesn't stick out so much but from quickly looking at this it proposes to make them completely invisible and I definitely don't support that!

@Fischblog Ich habs auch noch nicht selber geschaut aber es klingt auf jeden Fall interessant! Eine der schlimmsten Firmen die der westliche Feminismus je gesehen hat macht einen feministischen Film, ein besseres Beispiel von gesellschaftlichem Wandel kann ich mir schwer vorstellen! Eventuell schau ich ihn ja auch noch aber die Firma werde ich dafür sicher nicht finanzieren.

I have to agree with a lot of this. I find it very hard to follow enough of the right folks in order to get an interesting timeline here. Search just does not work. General attitudes are surprisingly anti-social for a social media network, with old-timers often complaining about how new-comers post. (1/2)

@soller It's Mastodons core desing, the goal is to build a social network rather than a social media platform so it's about interacting with others rather than publicity. That has it's fair share of downsides but I really like it, find me another platform with such a great community because I think while it's better than Reddit that's where Lemmy can't keep up.

@soller (1/2) After thinking about this for a while I came to the conclusion that we should probably stick to user driven methods for Mastodon itself and manage actual searchability externally. Quotes are a great example and I could also imagine stuff like direct links to the profiles of projects you are involved in and a list of personal favorites for others to check out.
