I don't think it was a good idea for instance admins to agree to talk to Meta under a nondisclosure agreement, but that DOESN'T make it an excuse for people to go and harass those admins. If anything they're the victims of Meta IMO, and a lot of them may still be in favor of blocking Meta regardless of whether they agreed to the meeting or not. I think we have to stick together in situations like this and act accordingly, keep in mind that "divide and conquer" is a proven strategy.

For some unknown reason my @fosstodon account stopped working on , I tried logging out of the app but now I can't log back in, when I select the fosstodon instance on Fedilab and hit continue it doesn't open up the login page like it should. I even tried reinstalling the app from but the issue persists.

@kev @mike did you guys make any changes to the server these past few days? @apps do you have any idea what might be causing the issue here? 🤔

(I'm now forced to use the webapp)

I'll start, Photoshop isn't actually a big deal for most people and it being missing is easier to complain about than fixing the real issues on the #Linux desktop

I use Artix Linux as my daily driver, which is basically just Arch Linux but without systemd. But I don't hate systemd tho, in fact I'm one of the developers of TROMjaro - a linux distro based on Manjaro. Oh yes, we forked Manjaro everyone! 😁 Here is the website - https://www.tromjaro.com

@AntennaPod surprised me with this cool feature today!

I think Spotify had a similar feature for the songs you listen to, but I haven't been on Spotify for a long time so I don't know what it's called now. But it's cool to see this on a FOSS podcast app like , and the amazing thing is that they generate it locally on your device so it's privacy friendly 🙂

Opening the AntennaPod Echo presents me with a screen similar to the status page you see on messengers like Whatsapp and Signal. In this screenshot you can see some animated floating bubbles in the background with the text on top reading "Your year 2023 in podcasts, generated privately on your phone".

What is cool about this amber is that it has a complex structure that makes it denser, harder and more resistant to external factors. It also makes possible good preservation of plant and animal inclusions. Insects, spiders and even their webs, frogs, crustaceans, bacteria and amoebae, marine microfossils, wood, flowers and fruit, hair, feathers and other small organisms have been recovered in amber. Even small mammals. Here you can see some extinct insect inclusions, such as spiders, ants, fleas, mosquitos, etc.

@seachanger You know it's funny how I was reading about it in a book today, of someone who never had a "career" to speak of and had spend the last 15 years of her life traveling around the world on a shoestring budget, doing various jobs from time to time when she runs out of money - and then quits her job and continues traveling after saving enough money. I feel like the puzzles are getting a bit too hard for me on #AdventOfCode, so I'll probably be slacking off from now on. Solving last day's 2D pipe maze with a loop was hard enough, and today's puzzle seem to be of a similar kind so I'll probably skip - I feel like these puzzles have more to do with math and geometry than programming itself :blobcatshrug:
