For the next FediForum, we will try something new:

A three-day schedule that includes Saturday.

We've heard from many people that they'd really like to come, but can't during the work week. Others want to keep weekends for family time. Both very understandable.

Also, many people told us they want more time because there is so much to discuss as we build out the Fediverse together.

So Thursday, Friday and Saturday it is on September 12-14! We are very much looking forward to it!!

The most recent Fediforum in March had the largest attendance ever of developers, users, moderators, and many other people interested in building a better social media environment. We will build on this in September, for the first time in a 3-day event. We'd love to see you join us and your peers.

• Threads has joined the fediverse in an open beta, allowing people from US, Canada and Japan to opt-in to having their Threads post be visible in the fediverse
• @fediforum happened this week, with a ton of great demos, a large variety of sessions, and multiple calls and initiatives for more collaboration across the fediverse
