@stephanie I gotta be honest, I do not understand the Teams hatred. It works, and does what I need it to do... also serves as a file repository. It just works. I rarely if ever have any difficulty with calls dropping for lack of clarity.

@heyfluxay I remember buying Dark Forces at Media Play. I picked it up before going to class during my freshman year of college. I really miss that store chain... hell I miss Hastings as well its sister store.

@heyfluxay I think I am the same way as you describe. I am a more amped-up version of myself online. One of my friends used to refer to it as "rockstar bel" but still the same fundamental person.

Morning Folks! There are a handful of games that "could have been" great, but were either canceled before their time or just failed to read the room. One of these games that I will always lament is Outriders and how it actually SHOULD have been a Live-Service game and failed to understand why people were raging against them at the time.

Okay, picking up from my video game post yesterday, I'm curious:

When you play video games, rpgs, ect, where you get to choose your character, do you tend to choose a character of the same sex, the opposite sex, non-binary, anthropomorphic, or a mysterious 4th option?

If you want to share screenshots of character builds I would enjoy that!

@RickiTarr I went down a bit of a rabbit hole here assembling "supporting evidence" but there is a specific character that I create over and over regardless of what game it is. This is "Belghast" and if for whatever reason a game does not allow me to create some reasonable facsimile of this character... I tend to create a female character but only if there are options that allow me to play a heavily armored character. When none of these exist I tend to play a non-human character.

A representation of one of the female characters that I play. When I can't create "Belghast" I create a heavily armored warrior maiden type character. This is my barbarian from Diablo IV. Red hair, pale skin, swept back into a tail, with tattoos taking the place of facial scaring over one eye.

@scopique @playerVShobbies we have a truly excessive number of mom-and-pop donut places in part because there is a Tulsa Company called Daylight Donuts that sells essentially a turnkey donut shop franchise.

They sell you the glaze, the flour, the equipment, the recipes etc... but each individual place sort of makes it their own.

Hey Folks! I said yesterday that I was not mainlining #Enshrouded... then spent the entire evening mainlining Enshrouded. I made a bunch of progress unlocking new tradesfolk and then started some minor renovations on my primary base.

@vbarreirojr @scopique ooooo I did not know that, I thought it was character based but then again I have only played single player for now. Hopefully they will implement quest progress being character based like your gear/bag status is.

@scopique @Nimgimli @vbarreirojr yeah I would not want the entire game state to change dependant upon who I join. Getting friends to help with stuff should be a thing, but not necessarily just inviting someone to get bounced to the end of the game lol.

Morning Folks! This morning I talked a bit more about my Penance Brand of Dissipation Inquisitor over in #PathOfExile. I also recorded a bit of gameplay footage of me doing a t16 Shaper Guardian map to show off how it feels to play the build. I've one-shot Sirius and Elder and took down Maven last night and am working on getting the fragments for Shaper.
