I'm a lot more interested in JW than SotO. A legendary spear is something I don't have, so I'm actually excited to make The Big Shiny™ this time!

I already have legendary armor, so I was pretty unenthusiastic about grinding SotO content once motivations weren't profitable anymore.

I'm kind of amped about an alternate method for obtaining a Warclaw. That is sort of the price of entry for really enjoying WvW. Like you can do it without one but it feels real bad to do it for very long.

@belghast Good change for established players too! Newbies in WvW trying to unlock warclaw form a massive tail on squads, leading to free kills for roamers. If they can start WvW for the first time with warclaw unlocked, it'll be much easier for them to keep up.

Saw the trailer. Looks like every profession is getting spear? That's interesting.

Also, there seemed to be a new raid boss trophy in the homestead part of the trailer. Very cool stuff!

@belghast A Polish news site accidentally published their article before embargo.

I think they're definitely touching home instances. The leaks mention a feature called Homesteads!

Also, more raid content is coming. It's a lot easier to get into now that Emboldened Mode exists as an LFR-style difficulty tweak. I think that added support will help more people engage with that facet of the game.

Really hoping that the enhanced controller support coming with #PathOfExile 2 finds its way back to the first game. I would much rather play with a controller, but using mouse and keyboard for UI is vastly superior when you're managing massive inventories of items.

In a perfect world, you could just hotswap between both as needed, but they force you to pick one or the other before you login to a character. (Chat is excluded)

Closed sign-ups are where it’s at for building a community on Mastodon.

Manually detecting bots before they even make it to the server helps ensure the community stays free from harassment and unwanted solicitation.

@massivelyop There's a lot of excitement within the community around "something really exciting that players have been requesting for over 5 years." Most people think it's a new raid wing, since Adashim released roughly 5 years ago and there hasn't been any raid content since. Very exciting stuff, we'll know for sure next week.

i wish there was some way to run both windows and linux at the same time on my machine so I can run valorant on my windows machine without needing to relegate my linux install to a VM

especially since some of the stuff i rely on for gw2 as well i need windows for lol

the end of secrets of the obscure was awful. i hope anet knows how limp that whole expansion was. good lord.

i wish there was a game that was as fun to play to me as gw2 is, but unfortunately there isnt so i just have to choke down whatever boring content they feed us.

update was kinda mid. story ending was weird, didn't really understand any of the lore books scattered around the last instance.

convergence CM is extremely easy, not even worthy of being called a CM. dragon's end is still the king. (i do like the new direction of hard 50-man content though: MAKE IT HARDER! WE CAN HANDLE IT!)
