I'm fairly certain Kagi is borrowing from SearxNG and making some slight modifications. The only thing Kagi holds over SearxNG that I see is the maps feature.

Just got parked because they can't figure out a medium Americano with 2 shots instead of one. One being a bit of a travesty to begin with.

The last one I ordered seemed to have the espresso, cream, and sweetner put in then the water added and was not stired. Dirty water for 80% of the cup. The last 20% was quite nice

Does anyone have a line on a mid-tier ARM processor?

Seems like the landscape is missing that middle ground. You either get the low end state of the art RK3588 which is decent but not in the same league as say a Core i5/i7. Or you get the big bois like the Ampere or the soon to be release Qualcomm X Elite which is trying to play at the top.

Where's my 10-12 core 4Ghz proc on an mATX board with a few extra PCIe lanes to play with in the $300-$500 range?

I've noticed lots of sites disabling copy/paste I presume in an attempt to prevent scraping to feed LLM training.

The fediverse doesn't seem to be doing this.

Does that mean the fediverse could have an outsized impact on LLM results as the places for LLM scrapers dwindles?

Is there a sort of fedi-consensus on if we want to help or hurt LLMs? How might we go about doing one or the other if we have more influence?

Started a Facebook account so I could setup a business page. Joined a community of commercial drone pilots because all the ytubers recommend socializing and networking. Respectfully challenged some assumptions in that group and now less than a week later I'm having to appeal a ban from Facebook for my account not meeting "community guidelines" with no detail as to what was in violation. I see Facebook is still a shit fire. :thinkerguns:

I got what I think is a pretty fantastic orthographic photo of the park near my house. Mapping efforts seem to be paying off.

For scale that running track is a quarter mile track with a youth football (American, sorry) in the middle.

I'm going to roll with a "no dumb questions" policy as big a mistake as that may be on the open internet.

I have a DJI Mini 4 Pro. Is there some way to mark the start/end of a shot? Like a clap board sort of but for drones, in the sky?

I'd like to automate my video processing and so far most of that is just cutting out transit and setup time for the shot I want. Some way to mark the start and end of a shot that can be identified automatically would be incredible!

Is there an automated way to get orbits of oblong buildings or is the only option manual piloting?

I was marking the center top of the building but then the drone cuts off one end or the other. Couldn't go wider due to trees.

Haven't quite worked out exactly what these will go into service doing. Probably use them as a tiny Kubernetes cluster while I learn Kubernetes. Then maybe part of a secondary low power backup home network for when power goes down?

Orange Pi Zero 2W, cases off Aliexpress, Batteries with UPS mode from Amazon.

My tests show these batteries get right around 24 hours uptime.

Wow, has anyone tried to read the paper version of @WIRED lately? What a mess.

Articles don't start with titles so it's hard to tell where one article ends and another begins.

This confusion is enhanced by the ads inserted into the middle of articles. Am I starting a new article? I can't rely on titles to let me know.

No formatting standards. Some articles do begin with a giant letter, sometimes the only clue you stumbled into a new article, but some don't.

My very first flight. Noticed the drift at the beginning of the video. Tried to land using return to home with the intent of re-calibrating geomagnetics. Not sure how or why return to home sent the drone firing off at a sideways angle into the field.

Still investigating. Thanksfully it didn't turn into my first FAA report. :kerbal:
