@simon not my point. I mean, it's no winder they're not invested, and that does reflect in my stats, but. My horror was at the idea that this is what people have to do to get to see a doctor. That is so wrong on so many levels. And that it's cheaper to pay tuition than premiums is everything that's wrong with this country--deep down wrong in the sense of being outright immoral. I actually applaud my students' creativity in coming up with this hack though.

I guess what cuts to my heart about this part is that I am the people listed in our sweet, warm, supportive, and welcoming DEI statement that was. My students are mostly those people too. We used to include links to supports for minority and first gen students but no more. It's almost like it's a hostile environment again for us, like we've regressed 50 years this weekend.
