@mathias caught the pattern I didn't in the repeated symptoms with various types of headaches I get, and frequent photophobia. No aura.

Combined with the intense dizziness I experienced recently, it's seeming a likely match. My sister has them too.

What's that? It's a bat! @lupomancer is ready to flap around whether in fluffy plush softness or squeaky sleekness!

Finished texturing with height mapping for stitching and latex seams including glued overlaps and appropriate plastics for the eyes and claws. ^^ Really happy with how this turned out!

The completed work on making @lupomancer an inflatable latex hyena last night during the stream! Glued-on spots raised in height, panel overlap seams from the panels of latex glued together, and a proper sheen to fit with the final result! Really happy with how this turned out!

Still gotta figure out hiding the valve properly when clothes are on -- maybe I'll default the avatar to squeaky with a toggle to turn it off. #VRChat #SubstancePainter #3DArt

Newest "things done on newer social media sites" hot take I'm seeing is people whining about artists boosting their own art the next day, this from a couple folks not on fedi. I'm just like '...? so just scroll on?' like, algorithmically it won't necessarily be shown to folks who weren't paying attention during the initial surge, so what? Gonna get frustrated seeing the same thing boosted by multiple people they follow next?

IDK, it just feels like a really petty complaint for artists eager for feedback or comments or just to share. I was thinking like "lmao I boost the things I commission multiple times because I'm really excited about them".

Oh wow. Ok, I immediately recommend Obtanium over F-Droid. F-Droid devs have refused to properly hook into the APIs Android already has in place since I think 10 for third-party app providers to be able to auto-update apps or even do so without prompting the user, without root.

Obtanium isn't a store -- you give it GitHub URLs, or even F-Droid ones, so you could use F-Droid as a browser, then Obtanium to install, but I think I definitely prefer it now.

Your irregular reminder that if your friend on Discord sends you a message like "Hey are you busy?" or "I filed a ticket on you on accident" -- that's not your friend messaging you. Your friend likely fell for the same scam, and now their account has been compromised.

The current insidious trend is acting as if an accidental "account compromised" ticket was filed, when it wasn't, with a fake support account to message.

Discord will only accept support tickets through web, not dubious chat.

I will never understand people who upload someone else's art as if it's their own after deleting the background from it, and then double down when accused of the art theft...going so far as to reply to a comment on the original piece alerting the original author, by saying "no I didn't!" while still literally having the stolen piece in their gallery still.

It could have been. It still can be. I don't know that ActivityPub will be long term for social stuff. But it's why I keep pushing for better, and why I'll keep running blimps.xyz: a small drop of silly puffiness in the pool, but still important to have spaces like here, Wobbl, Gulp Cafe, Macrofurs, Cyberfurz, Meow, and many, many more on many platforms. Each a drop (or big splash), but each something in support of what the Internet was supposed to be, and do, and that I, too, believe still can be.
