This is just so ridiculously stupid. The article claims that only straight men think about Ancient Rome, and implies that if they don’t think about it, then they must be gay. WTF?
I’m sure there are plenty of hetero men who NEVER think of Rome (my husband being one of them), and loads of gay men who DO think of Rome.

@james @timrichards Humidity might also have something to do with it. I grew up in Texas, where the humidity is sky high. Moved to Chicago as a youngish adult. Lower temps in Chicago felt warmer that Texas because of the lower humidity up there.

Now here in Welly, it’s the damn wind and the lack of proper insulation that chills me to the bone!! 🥶🥶🥶

And he did.

So we're back early, despite a five-hour round trip to take another friend home after he had a fight with her and refused to drive her back. (He and my BFF were the ones that drove her up to begin with.)

@mitexleo It turns out that the "account suspended" message is what folks on the server that has blocked the other server see. MastodonNZ has blocked the server I am on (Paktodon.Asia), so anyone on m.nz looking at my profile (or anyone else's on this server), will see a message that makes it look as though the account(s) has/have been suspended.

Hello, Tomorrow! is pretty good, but not the same sort of genre as Foundation and Silo. Those two series are excellent, and I’m anxious for more!
