I am so excited to showcase this AMAZING partial (and 📸) of my coffee birb made by MiesdoCreations (on TG)!!!
It's her first time making a bird suit, and I think she did such a lovely job on him!
I can't wait to show him to friends and bring him to cons :D
For anyone unaware, Google Chrome is currently rolling out an update that track your interests based on browsing history, then share them with 3rd party websites. The notification page makes it sound like they added a new privacy feature, but in actuality they automatically enrolled you into their tracking system and you have to go and manually opt out.
@malwaretech when this popup came up to me I looked at the colored things in the image first and thought "Yay! They implemented tab containers (a la firefox)!" But then I read further and, nope, it's the exact opposite...
@anthropy my main concern about these things is around the holiday laws surrounding camping homes here, meaning you are only allowed to live in it for 9 months per year (the other 3 being for holiday visitors). Another one being about the homes being attached to a mail address (postal code, house number, etc.)
I once had to consider such a home because of time constraints, but it just wasn't a valid option for me... Hopefully stuff like this will be easier to get in the future tho!
My only major complaint about Tusky is that the image viewer just sucks... Moving the image around while zoomed in is just very bugged. It keeps hitting some arbitrary scroll limit and/or think I want to swipe to the next/previous image.
There's one thing I have noticed about leaving Twitter.
Something that is very apparent on there is that you often get FOMO from all these people constantly retweeting things like videos or pictures from events like furcons and such.
Like, cool and all, but then you get FOMO because you're not there to see or experience it yourself (either because of availability, distance, price, etc.)
I mean, I still see it a bit here, but not nearly as bad.
