Equinox, to Fursuit

🪶 Meet Equinox: Fursuit Edition! 🪶

I am so excited to showcase this AMAZING partial (and 📸) of my coffee birb made by MiesdoCreations (on TG)!!!
It's her first time making a bird suit, and I think she did such a lovely job on him!
I can't wait to show him to friends and bring him to cons :D

For more information about this suit (as well as a little reveal video!) go here: https://t.me/MiesdoCreations/3338

Equinox is looking somewhat angry at the viewer with baring fists. Not meant to be serious. His eyes have magnetic eye lids that allows for changing his expression a bit
Side view, showing his ears and crest better
Back view, showing his feathered tail. On the back of his varsity jacket is a print of Equinox's face and name.

I love ZigBee, except for the times I have to (re)pair some of the devices.

Almost spent an hour trying to fix my lights after coming back home with one of the four spots being left on and ignoring my button presses :Solloaf:

It's one of those DIY solutions (dongle+zigbee2mqtt), but I might just buy an IKEA hub, since I know it allows for button based pairing...

Ah yeah! I love Asterisk and Obelisk!!

Okay I'm gonna be honest, metaprogramming (what I would like to call, using reflections and source file system access) is actually a lot of fun haha

I can let the compiler/runtime generate the boring boilerplate and annoying little annoyances for me when well crafted!

Does it cause (possibly hard to debug) abstractions? Yep! Does it speed up development time and reduce workload in the end? Hell yeah!

(I just have to comment it very well to explain what's happening tho)

For anyone unaware, Google Chrome is currently rolling out an update that track your interests based on browsing history, then share them with 3rd party websites. The notification page makes it sound like they added a new privacy feature, but in actuality they automatically enrolled you into their tracking system and you have to go and manually opt out.

Equinox,

@malwaretech when this popup came up to me I looked at the colored things in the image first and thought "Yay! They implemented tab containers (a la firefox)!" But then I read further and, nope, it's the exact opposite...

Who wants some cheap housing? Apparently there's a giant storage camping with 1900 houses just sitting there :v

Equinox,

@anthropy my main concern about these things is around the holiday laws surrounding camping homes here, meaning you are only allowed to live in it for 9 months per year (the other 3 being for holiday visitors). Another one being about the homes being attached to a mail address (postal code, house number, etc.)

I once had to consider such a home because of time constraints, but it just wasn't a valid option for me... Hopefully stuff like this will be easier to get in the future tho!

My only major complaint about Tusky is that the image viewer just sucks... Moving the image around while zoomed in is just very bugged. It keeps hitting some arbitrary scroll limit and/or think I want to swipe to the next/previous image.

@Tusky

Equinox,

@Tusky thank you for letting me know! I just installed it and yeah it seems a lot better now!

There's one thing I have noticed about leaving Twitter.
Something that is very apparent on there is that you often get FOMO from all these people constantly retweeting things like videos or pictures from events like furcons and such.

Like, cool and all, but then you get FOMO because you're not there to see or experience it yourself (either because of availability, distance, price, etc.)

I mean, I still see it a bit here, but not nearly as bad.
