I get a lot of the apprehension and critiques of #ai – and as a society we definitely have to make careful choices as we progress – but I think that contrary to popular opinion, there's an outcome where rather than entrenching existing big players, individuals suddenly have leverage to create things that they never before could.

In many ways it feels like the dawn of the Apple I or HyperCard.

I trained a fine-tune of Stable Diffusion XL1 on my #midjourney generations and the results are pretty great.

Can you tell which is which?

Prompting a new model is hard, but fine-tuning lets you quickly see how capable it is.
