I have to say, I enjoy SwiftUI a LOT more than XIBs. But I still feel Apple should’ve pushed the visual coding paradigm further than it did. There is still a ton of “cruft” in Swift that I’d rather not have to deal with. I just want stuff to work and do what I want.
Got a chance to watch #WesAnderson's latest, Asteroid City. He's one of those #directors (along with either/both of the #Cohen brothers) that I will watch anything he creates, without knowing anything about it.
He's got a distinctive #visual#style that gives him away, but #AsteroidCity reinforces my hypothesis that the thing that truly is his signature is that every single character in his #movies is #insane, and none of them know it, about themselves or each other.
