Para los que tengáis problemas ejecutando RStudio desde Ubuntu 24.04 probad a ejecutar esto desde un terminal:
sudo chmod 4755 /usr/lib/rstudio/chrome-sandbox
I'm having a hell of a day with Firefox today (and part of yesterday). Since 126.0 was released many websites make Firefox crash (for example opening images here in Mastodon but also a Grafana dashboard and others). All in Gnome with Wayland and Ubuntu 24.04. Are other people having the same issues? #Firefox#Ubuntu#Wayland#Gnome
Je trouve des limitations à #LibreOffice, pas insurmontables mais qui gâchent un peu la fête niveau comptabilité avec MS Word (exemples : les positionnements d'images et les "bullet points"), et OnlyOffice semble à première vue plus élégant dans son interface et peut-être bien aussi plus compatible.

Tengo un amigo que tiene una compu con dos discos y quiso instalar Ubuntu en uno y Windows en el otro, pero cometió un error y le quedó el #Ubuntu mal instalado sobre el mismo disco del Windows. Tiene algunos programas en Windows que no quiere perder, por lo cual no se puede formatear el disco. ¿Podemos remover el Ubuntu sólo con un disco de instalación o algo así? Y ya después instalamos correctamente en el otro. #Limux

Przymierzam się do kupna nowego komputera i docelowo będzie na nim Linux (kiedyś miałem styczność z Ubuntu, więc ku niej się skłaniam).
Jednak gdzieś co jakiś czas dochodzą do mnie urywki informacji w stylu "lenovo chce utrudnić instalację linuxa na swoich komputerach", "problem ze sterownikami karty graficznej nvidii".
Czy można gdzieś znaleźć wykaz wskazówek, czym się kierować przy wyborze komputera, na którym ma być Linux?
Nie chcę mieć problemów typu usunąłem fabrycznie wgrany system, zainstalowałem Linux i jest z czymś problem.
