Lots of tiny common #froglets emerging from the #ponds at #WWTCastleEspie. These were no larger than 1cm.
Shot on #Canon#EOS70D with 50mm f1.8 lens with a 12mm extension tube.
Only a week to go…!
Go get your hands on the last tickets, Outline 2024 is gonna be a blast. The weather is gonna be warm, the Grolsch & Fanta cold, the bytes tiny and the beats massive!
We are looking forward to seeing all you lovely people again sooooon.
The pill-box keychain filled with pill-sized dice is going to be on my person all the time. And for "formal occasions" (like gaming conventions) the pendant filled with them will be around my neck and ready for action.
#feed
Long-tailed tit. One of the cutest birds living in Poland. I took this photo almost 10 years ago, but recently it won a contest and will now show up in Google Chromecast (along with some other of my photos), so it might make sense to bump it up :)
From time to time our users share previews of what they're working on. This one by @xgroleau is very very impressive: Butter smooth scrolling Slint based UI on an NRF52840 MCU with an ST7798 on an 8 MHz SPI bus.
The magic is that the 240x240 screen is backed by a 240x320 buffer, where the next line is rendered out of the viewport and then the display's scroll offset is incremented. The code fits into 725kB flash and uses 45kb heap memory. 🚀
I'm thinking about Mastodon in a wide view, in the world of social media, this feels a little outsider, while at the same time it also feels like it might be the future. So, let's talk about it!
What do you get out of Mastodon?
Why are you here?
How has it compared with your other social media experiences?
What do you see for the future of Mastodon?
What do you want to see?
And basically anything else about it you want to say about Mastodon.
LET'S TALK!
First, the #categorization of #political views along a single left-right #axis is almost #useless. This has long been known, and alternatives exist that present a much more accurate picture, but the traditional #media is #addicted to "#left this" and "#right that" and is lazy, so they'll probably never get better.
