Earlier today I posted the link about the update of Fediverse software blog article on Twitter (sorry, X).
Interestingly, the views are extremely low, with almost no interaction, and a 'like' I received isn't showing up in my notifications.
It might be a coincidence, but it seems like freedom of speech ends when you talk about alternatives to the platform.
🔥 Don't miss out on the latest episode of TWiG with @leo, @jeffjarvis, @ant_pruitt, and Paris Martineau! They're diving into X's $1 charge, the Netflix theme park, and the rise of Meta Glassholes. Get your tech fix now! 🎧💻 #TWiG#TechTalkhttps://twit.tv/twig/738
I had a #techtalk today about writing good commit messages, here our the notes:
Commit message: tells the why (in present tense)
⮡ Rather more smaller commits than large commits
⮡ Add a feature: which feauture does this implement
⮡ Bug fix, which bug is fixed
⮡ Refactor: what was improved
⮡ Follow conventional commits: https://www.conventionalcommits.org/en/v1.0.0/
⮡ Title should be short <72 chars
⮡ Body can be long (number of lines)
⮡ Do not explain the obvious, e.g. typo fixes
