I really recommend picking this one up, if you ever played any of the previous titles or just like #strategy or rather #sim and #citybuilder type games.
Gabe at #Valve had already discovered Windows being a nightmare many, many years sooner and decided it was ridiculous to allow their eggs to solely be put into that basket - and so they spent a ton of money and resources in the following years developing #Proton so all#games on #Steam could be played on #Linux rather than just Windows.
Tim Sweeney however has been given the option to give the greenlight to allowing their (first-party) games, with anti-cheat, to be run on Linux using Proton, and decided not to. He's been spoonfed a solution at no cost, and refused it. I may agree with his recent sentiments against Microsoft and even #Apple, but make no mistake - the fella's an idiot.
Tried searching around but didn't surface any clear info: anyone know roughly how many people have to use a tag on Steam before it starts appearing for others to apply/search by?
I realize the info is likely deliberately withheld by Valve to mitigate people gaming the system, but also that that won't stop people figuring out some rough info on it.
Is Steamdb's tags page relatively comprehensive for the tags used across Steam?
If so I'm kind of surprised that Grindy isn't a tag on there. I'd like that to filter out those games, and those that love them could more easily find'em. Win-win!
