I am currently re-watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine all the way through, every season from the beginning. I am halfway through the 4th season right now. And one thing I was not prepared for was the amount of and intensity of the vaporwave energy coming off of this show. I mean wow lol
"Welcome to the wild, WILD West! Spurs Jackson and his Space Vigilantes bravely defended the frontier against commies from Mars, Venusian spies, Meteor Men, moon bats, and of course, Hitler and his space Nazis. Oh, and dinosaurs!
Commander Sisko: The Cowboys vs. Alien Commie Dinosaurs and Nazis is going to spread across the quadrant, if we don't stabilize the Temporal Doohickey.
Dax: The Temporal Doohickey is accelerating - the crewman behind is starting to disappear.
One of the things I was never prepared for as an adult is when you rent, you nonetheless get attached to the place. Twice I’ve rented houses that I absolutely hated leaving but that’s the thing, they weren’t my places…not really. As a result, I felt an angry resentment toward the place I moved to.
As someone who looks for answers and inspiration in books, and pop culture, I found what I was looking for: a place with potential for adventure yet a place no one really want to visit, much less live…until it becomes a home. #StarTrek#DS9#StarTrekDeepSpaceNine#StarTrekDS9
My collection of Star Trek soundtracks from La-La Land Records is starting to grow. I just got a used copy of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Collection Volume 1 in and I have had Star Trek: Enterprise Collection Volumes 1 and 2 for a little while.
Arriving soon are both volumes of Star Trek: Voyager Collection and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Collection Volume 2.
