Watching Season 3 of "For All Mankind" finally. The new important character that popped up is Dev Ayes. He's an eccentric light years ahead Silicon Valley billionaire who intends to get to Mars years before NASA, the Soviets (yes the USSR still exists in this show's universe), or anyone else. It is clearly the Musk archetype the media created before the present era. I'm curious if it plays out as a cautionary tale arc or a savior arc through the end. I get douche chills just watching this because of the Musk connotation in the same way I do with Tony Stark in Marvel movies. #ForAllMankind #SciFi #ElonMusk #space #AltHistory

The Webb space telescope has shown there are three different asteroid belts surrounding Fomalhaut, one of the brightest stars in the sky.

Fomalhaut is a young type A4V star around 400 million years old some 25 light years away. About twice the size of our Sun, it's got two companions, a K4 about 0.9 light years away from it and an M4V about 2.5 light years away from it.

Gaps in the asteroid belts are likely being swept clear by planets.

Now JWST has revealed exactly what they are: three enormous, dusty asteroid belts around another star!
