Given unbridgeable cultural & religious differences, this #utopia is not achievable

Pew asked about various metrics, including whether respondents had volunteered in the past year, had voted in recent midterm elections or follow public affairs closely. The rates for nones are similar to those of who have a affiliation but don’t attend religious services. In other words, the issue appears to be more about involvement in groups than religious labels or associations.

DrOinFLA,

@RickiTarr
That thing I will never do again:
Wolf down a banana and chug down a 12-ounce can of 7-Up.
My friend's Catholic youth group took us to an amusement park, and forced us to do that right before riding The Zipper.
I firmly believe this is the origin of the term "Vomit Comet".
Oh, also, no religion after that, ever again.

The Canada Revenue Agency's anti-terrorism team claims to have discovered "disturbing" links between a Hamas support network and leaders of the Muslim Association of Canada, which has received millions of dollars in public funds in recent years.

The group, which manages a dozen establishments in Quebec and more than fifty in Canada, denies any link with terrorism or extremism.

My first question would be, why is 's funding a group in the first place?

It's bad enough we give religious organizations tax exemptions, directly funding them is a travesty.
