Es waren viele unterschiedliche Personen und Räder auf dem leider recht unspektakulären Track. Das Gesamtbild wurde aber ganz klar hauptsächlich von trainierten Ambitionierten geprägt, zumindest auf dem 300 km Track :o)
Es kam grad wer kuscheln, richtig innig. Erst ein Begrüßungskussi und dann den Kopf auf meine Schulter gelegt. Aber schon kurz danach wieder unruhig aufgerichtet und panisch Reißaus in Richtung Hüfte genommen. Von da an war der Zauber vorbei. Ohne eine Verabschiedung war ich kurz danach auch schon wieder alleine.
Bei voller Fahrt ne Fledermaus ins Gesicht zu bekommen ist erheiternd. Bin mir aber sicher, dass beide Seiten darauf verzichten können :o)

My No. 22. Bicycle Drifter. By today's standards a race gravel bike. Or maybe even a roadbike. Or an endurance bike. Certainly a #fastfar bike.
And guess what - I exactly wanted it this way and specced it as such already back in 2019. I’ve now enjoyed well more than 35.000 km on it and intend to have more to come. :)

Das heutige #Bikefitting ist erledigt, alles ist vorerst auf mich eingestellt. Nun folgt Millimeterarbeit, hoffentlich nur wenig.
Bei der Videoanalyse tat sich sogar eine suboptimale Bewegung auf. Mein Rad wurde daraufhin etwas angepasst und dann ging es direkt zur zweiten Videoanalyse. Diese war jedoch echt kein Erfolg. Hatte mich dann sooo sehr auf die Bewegung konzentriert, dass das völlig ulkig aussah. Kopfsache :oD
Was going to have an #aperitif in #castellinainchianti, but they don't seem to want my money. Too bad, i'll take my money back to #poggibonsi they seem to like it more.

Die aktuelle Witterung lässt den #NewBikeDay gediegen daherkommen, kein hastiges Montieren und auf den Sattel Geschwinge möglich :o)
Rim and wheel manufacturers slowly catching up with (absolutely not so new anymore) current tire widths in road as well as in gravel riding.
Nextiebikes were well on the forefront here with their AGX45 rims. I ride those since Summer 2021 already!
But those 40 mm outer width are quite the jump from most other rims maxing out at 29 to 32 mm (mind you, even those 32 ones are a rate breed, still).
Lo and behold what I recently found at the Nextie website:
They now have (dunno since when, exactly) a CGX series with 34 mm outer width! With hooks and with heights from 30 to 60 mm. Awesome! Good job Nextiebikes.
Finally went on a bike ride again. My go-to valley when I want to get away from it all, is the Diemtigtal. Very quiet, not too steep but still nice vistas and very good roads.
Also nach der Testfahrt heute Abend muss ich sagen, um „LÄNGEN" besser. Wie man am Selle Italia sehen kann, ist der a „schmaler“ (kann man nicht sehen, müsst Ihr mir glauben) und b abgerundeter. ich sitze da nicht mit den Sitzhörnchen DRAUF, sondern jeweils nur "seitlich“. Auf dem SQLab, der min. 1 cm breiter und "flach“ ist, da sitze ich richtig drauf. Ein viel besseres Fahrgefühl. #Rennrad#Roadbike@fedibikes_de@mastobikes_de
Das kann ich so wie man es da sieht „vom Gefühl" her bestätigen! Auf dem alten Sattel saß ich "immer“ mit der Innenseite der Sitzknochen auf dem Sattel. Das ist jetzt einfach angenehmer. #Rennrad#Roadbike
Too much time off the #bike (as always seems to happen in one summer month or another), this time thanks to a need for antibiotics that have left my body feeling like anything more than existing will push me over the edge. Hoping to force myself out tomorrow, if only for a light spin on the trails. Definitely no climbs – the stomach's not up for it.
