Dan Andrews made extraordinarily hard decisions and stood by them. Debt was a consequence, but it saved lives. That's how he should be remembered. #respect#insiders

It's funny how the people #Trump respected were the people telling him what he wanted to hear, that the #election was #stolen, while he didn't #respect the people who were telling him the #truth, that he #lost. The fact is that he only respects himself and his ideas. If you agree with him, you're amazing, and you're well respected. If you don't agree with him, you're a #RINO or a secret #Democrat. This dude is #pathetic.
May the world reflect on these thoughts, this ode, this homage to freedom and humanity from one of the world's great 20th Century minds, Thomas Mann. (1929 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate)
#HappyTeachersDay to all the wonderful #teachers who impart learning selflessly, patiently, caringly, effectively, responsibly and lovingly. You are #matchless. #Thankyou for being you.
"Respect your fears: what the Mapuche approach to fear can teach us about transforming our biases and fighting prejudice.
When we further probed parents and elders about these beliefs, they told us that fear isn’t useful and shouldn’t be felt.
They argued that fear is debilitating and paralysing, and should be replaced with unconditional respect for all life."
Some people are saying that Autistic people on social media are "romanticizing Autism." To these I say: I spent most of my 60 years of life wanting to be like other people. If some people now want to be like me, I'm totally fine with that. #autism#autisticadult#AutisticArtists#autisticme#respect#AutisticJoy
So, not to put too much negativity into the world today... but if you're constantly complaining about transactional conceptions of #relationships then I'm just going to assume that you have difficulty reciprocating in your relations, that you've been told that you take more than you give and you don't "keep track" because you're the one primarily benefiting by using others. I'm open to you proving me wrong, but I think this is a reasonable default at this point.
@ekknappenberger actually, good question. Hodgson is lumping this group under category "representative" which Sölle clearly headlines with a text by that name. He then offers good angles the others take that differentiate them from Sölle's work. My post was more that she headlined the category #respect
British Quakers have signed a pledge of support for trans people. “Quakers believe that all people are equal, and that gender and sexuality are sacred gifts." Sacred gifts is a perfect way of putting it. I hope other groups, religious and secular, take note.
