I watched the shelter listing for Bandit and Ranger for almost a month. "Surely, someone will scoop up these cuties," I kept thinking. But everyone has their breaking point. We've had them for just over a week now, and I'm so sorry for not just going in and adopting them sooner. They are a couple of the absolute most sweet and cuddly nuggets we've ever met. They love human time and getting scritchies! Their shelter names were Ratrick Swayze and Rat Damon, yeah, sorry but no.
Just brought home two new friends from the shelter. Welcome home, Bandit and Ranger! They are sooo sweet, not even an ounce of aggression detected. We are going to try to intro them to Cowboy and Max after a period of quarantine and settling in.
NOLA: "Rodents have infested police headquarters, scattering feces across desks and feasting on narcotics in the department's evidence room, she said. Cockroaches are also abundant." #rats#pests#police#NewOrleans#NOLA
"One NOPD veteran, speaking anonymously, said the headquarters building has been infested with vermin for his nearly two decades on the force" #rats#pest#police#NOLA#NewOrleans
Slowly growing more confident that Maze (official full name is now: Mazer Blazer) isn't going to bite the crap out of us and, you know, cause permanent nerve and mobility damage. Just gotta make sure he doesn't look directly at any delicious fingers. Mmm fingers
