Second $10 garage sale 19 inch rack deployed. Found an extra 19 inch shelf I had snagged a few years ago! Need another. Much better than the pile-o-radios. #hamradio#project
@Geojoek Bargain basement radios are very possible... local hamfests, typically, and some estate sales. -- I get a lot of free HF radios (old!) from people who don't want to bother fixing or selling them... A bunch of Tentecs right now. I did fix one and give it to a new ham (telling them to hand it off if they got their own), and sadly, found they did NOT appreciate not having the latest-greatest shiny thing. 😢 I've given away a lot of fixed HF radios to new hams as it's no use having them accumulating dust in my shack, LOL...
The #project will include a number of activities, such as the possible #reintroduction of lost wildlife like butterflies, rare #plants & beavers & the moving of #funghi to restore #soil.
Curious about our ArtNet based light control system?
We've created a web GUI that enables easy access to various typical vehicle lighting scenarios. The operator gets instant feedback about the currently activated scenario.
Our layering concept allows prioritizing lighting animations and stacking them on top of each other.
By the way: Animations are provided as CSV files. You're free in choosing the tool to generate these.
My latest pet #project: Replace the "free" #location sharing services with simple solution where one has full control of (a) data collection (b) data storage (c) data sharing/visualisation.
If you want to give this #GoogleLatitude like alternative a go, I'd be happy for any and all comments:
Today's coffee break project. Staining some found (curb) furniture. Stain is leftover from the disaster remodel here, so this now matches our bathroom cabinets, LOL. #diy#project#furniture
In a pilot project, the Tiruchi City Corporation has decided to waive user fee at 20 pay-and-use toilets in the city to encourage people to use the facility voluntarily rather than practicing open defecation.
Many thanks to @Defolos: He explains some of the #history behind the #project, how the different variants differ from each other, how Tumbleweed's stability is ensured and what the gecko is all about.
Picked up this "AI" camera for $15. I'm going to see if I can integrate it into my existing Zonemimder setup (if there's a video stream I should be able to do something). Of course, only after I connect it to an airgapped laptop so I can see what weird URLs it's trying to connect to. Also, it seems to require an app, but I'm hoping I can get around that.
