@schreiben: Ich denke auch ernsthaft darüber nach, einen reinen Plaintextblog einzurichten, also bestenfalls ein bisserl Markdown. Ich habe dabei an das Fediverse gedacht - da gubt es ja so write.as Instanzen, nur die, die ich gefunden habe, nehmen keine neuen Registrierungen entgegen oder kosten ein Schweingeld. Hat jemand von Euch Erfahrung mit den Bloginstanzen im Fediverse?
Parfois je suis sur Mastodon en croyant être sur Blouskaille. D’autres fois, je suis persuadé d’être sur Mastodon, alors que je suis sur Blouskaille. Il n’y a que sur Twittix que je sais où je suis, sans savoir si cela va encore durer longtemps.

@monsieurkaplan #Plume, #WriteFreely, #WordPress permettent la création de blogs sur le fédiverse. Le développement de Plume est arrêté, mais les deux autres sont bien actifs. Write Freely permet des blogs minimalistes, sans fioritures. Pour y jeter un coup d'œil : https://writefreely.org/ Quant à Wordpress, on ne le présente pas... Chaque utilisateur wordpress peut soit utiliser un plugin activity pub (comme moi: @eric_m) soit activer la fédération s'il est hébergé sur wordpress.com.
Und wegen der Zeichenlimits... ich verwende #Friendica, das hat gar kein Zeichenlimit.
Und wenn es wirklich extrem lange Texte sein müssen, dann schreibs in ein föderierendes Blog. #Writefreely und #Plume föderieren ins Fediverse nativ. Wordpress hat ein Sctivitypub-Plugin, damit kann es ebenfalls ins Fediverse föderieren.
Das bedeutet:
Du schreibst deinen Senf ins Blog, den du mit deinem Mastodon abonniert hast. Sobald es in deiner Timeline auftaucht, teilst du deinen Blog wie alles andere auch.
Friendica kann an dieser Stelle sogar ein automatisches Teilen, welches dir sogar diese Aufgabe abnimmt.
Aber Bilder mit Text uu posten, weil man sich ein Service gesucht hat, das nicht zu seinen Kommunikationsbedürfnissen passt, ist ganz schlechter Stil.
Es kann ja auch sein, dass du außer Mastodon gar nix kennst aus dem Fediverse, das deutlich umfangreicher und an Features reichhaltiger ist als Mastodon...
Dann nimm mein Kommentar als Einstiegspunkt in eine Welt, von der du grad mal ein Krümel entdeckt hast.
does anybody have a wysiwyg blog software that posts to fediverse? it turns out the wordpress activitypub plugin is almost completely broken. writerfreely is markdown not wysiwyg. not sure what other options are available. I don't have time to write something that just glues together a wysiwyg markdown editor with minio and I guess the guts of honk or something.
If I will #recommend a #fediverse software that needs support (developer and financial(?)), it is #Plume.
Plume is “a federated blogging application”. Basically, it is a blogging software that was made for the fediverse network.
Features I like:
It has comments. The comments also pulls from the fediverse.

Just to clear things up, all projects need support. What I meant with my post above is, a project that has gone on hiatus, or the development slowed down considerably.
If there are developers looking for a #fediverse project, take #Plume into consideration.
Hier im Podcasts ab ca. Min. 15 werden auch noch mal von @Lioh einige Hintergründe zum Fediverse berichtet, an dem sie auch selbst aktiv mitentwickelt hat (auch sehr aufschlussreich in Bezug auf die aktuellen Zentralisierungs-Tendenzen im Fediverse)

write.tchncs.de has been restored and is now using the "latest" (non-release) docker image. part of the reason choosing docker is me refusing to install (or rather downgrade to) an outdated dependency and i failed to compile the quite old source by hand – but now i can at least look the spamaccounts up in the admin panel in order to delete them and dont have to click through pages... yay.
maybe time for sunsetting tho as this project is mostly abandoned (again!) it seems. #plume#tchncs
