So I'm going through a hell upgrade of mysql https://mastodon.social/@mcc/112294139220776280 and the only reason this is a problem is because one of the Wordpress tables got mangled during an upgrade. In fact, the only reason I am running Mysql is to support Wordpress. I don't really want to be running Mysql. Or Wordpress. But I set up this website in 2006, and now I'm stuck maintaining Wordpress, and the Mysql it depends on, and the Ubuntu THAT depends on, for like… the rest of my life. Every new LTS, a jolt of pain
Abgesehen davon, dass ich TikTok nicht mag weil ich deren Zweck nicht einsehe, nutzen es sehr viele und vor allem sehr junge Menschen und dies auch kommerziell. Wie eben YouTube & Co. und eigentlich nicht viel anders aber auch als politische Propaganda eine Konkurenz zusätzlich.

Bei Frio habe ich am Smartphone das Problem das ich nicht sehe ob ich einen Beitrag im Stream einen Luke/dislikes verpasst habe. Weder verändert sich die Farbe der Grafik, noch bekomme ich es sonst wie angezeigt. Das hat man erst nach einen Reload der Seite. Das ist mir jetzt schon mit verschiedenen Farbschemata aufgefallen. Und es ist echt kontraproduktiv.
Yes, I know about hashtags. I use them. albeit sparingly, as I think is appropriate, without making my posts #look#like#Ransom#notes. For example, I tag my photos with "#photography". What I won't do is label my "boring" posts, because I like to think that every one of them has the potential to be boring to someone.
