@MonaApp Mona 5.2 was released yesterday.
I got the update & love it!
this is my favorite #Mastodon app for #iOS & #MacOS.
It works extremely well with #Voiceover too.
I’ve written down most of what I’ve learned about xcframeworks into this blog post. I hope it can be a one-stop shop to answer all your practical questions, including:
And I agree with @gruber that it’s downright criminal not to have it on an #Apple platform. Maybe you can make a market share argument against #macOS, but what about #iOS?
Didn't plan on having this before 1.0 but added simple search feature to #Pipilo. Whole feature was already in the app used for other purposes so all I needed was to add basic user interface.
New iPad layout in Snippets Studio 2.0! The Mac app couldn't be the only one to get a sidebar right? Still working on a few other things. Hopefully will release soon!
Fun Fact: You can actually fit more than 4 snippets on screen by turning off the code preview in the app settings.
From @Vivaldi on #iOS#TestFlight beta: Great news for those of you who were unable to sign up on Tuesday - we are opening more spots today. The last batch of spots were gone within an hour, so if you are interested, be sure to hit the link (https://testflight.apple.com/join/gwgXNKlY) at GMT 18:00.
Note: #Vivaldi beta is for iPhones and iPads running iOS/iPadOS 15 or above.
Question for folks who build #iOS or #android apps with #accessibility in mind. How do you design, build, and test functionality for switch controls? Have you purchased (seemingly overpriced) kit from the known accessible tech sellers? Rolled your own switch in some way? Any other suggestions?
This article by me at Forbes has now been updated to include news of the iOS 16.6 drop into the developer program channel and the first real sign that iMessage contact key verification could be a reality this year after all.
Apple makes an App Store that makes it next to impossible to charge for updates. Devs move to subscription model that non-one wants. Apple fans complain that people who don't like subscriptions aren't being reasonable.
How about you complain about the source of the problem instead of blaming users?
