Although the summer is back (I intent to go swimming tomorrow 😅 ), I already see autumn is just around the corner. Some leaves are already bright red. The picture is from last year, but they are already looking nearly the same already this year.
In this abstracted watercolor painting, two oak leaves in warm orange and yellow fall colors dance in an autumn breeze that drifts and swirls through the sky.
Uncanny artwork by mother nature. This foliage had grown on the rear window of our car during my working hours yesterday, with nothing out of the ordinary in the weather (–5°C and cloudy) to explain it. Yet in some subtle way the conditions must have been just right for it to occur.
I see the blue sky behind the maple leaves, but when I showed the finished painting to my hubby, he said he sees the leaves floating on aqua blue water in a pond or pool.
What do you see?
My hand and eye coordination and finger dexterity are just barely good enough to type this out in the morning. Sometimes I wake up in the morning stumbling. It's nothing new, just a symptom of waking up before I really want to - thanks Charlie. 🐩
I think that at a certain point in life, your mind to longer blinks into perfect clarity when you wake up in the morning. Honestly, I don't recall if my mind ever did that, but I think it did at least if I was sober the night before. I used to have a schedule to keep though, you know, getting to work and all that. Now my only schedule is "time to get up" because of Charlie, and "time to eat" because of both Ben and Charlie. It's a dog's world. 😂
