#Threads is testing federation for a few selected profiles. I'm now following @mosseri! It's one-way for now, but it's exciting. It's a step towards the interoperable social web that we've been advocating for 🙂

Me? I abandoned those media a few years ago. I paid attention, and likely so did everyone reading this post.

Others: Foster awareness. If you're a , get the real information into an articles= or or . If you are a photographer, take satirical pictures and post them on-platform and elsewhere. If you are a ... an ... Until people who don't pay attention like we do get jolted, they won't switch (†).

Those that get what they want from it: Nothing so long as they get what they want. Figure a way to make it so they don't get what they want.

(†) Keep in mind that a , Twit, , etc. alternative may seem so difficult to set up, like is for many mundanes. If they can't grok it they won't switch. In which case, write better SIMPLE bootstraps for mundanes.

    Ich verstehe seine Argumentation und habe die geschilderten "tech wars," wie ich es nennen würde, nicht mitgemacht.

    Olen osallistunut tähän itsekin.

    Sitten taas mietin sitä, että eihän jengi lähtenyt istakaan - edes moni teistä Twitterin jättäneistä; olette edelleen :ssa - vaikka ja kun paljastui, mikä alustan vaikutus oli esim. in valintaan ja iin.

    Että sinänsä, jos jengi ei pelkän in epäeettisyyden takia lähde #X:stä, niin onko tuo ihme?

    2/4 Eniten mua ihmetyttääkin siinä, ettei jengi lähde istä se, että moni kuitenkin lähtökohtaisesti kokee vastenmielisyyttä alustaa, ilmapiiriä, tomintatapoja ym. kohtaan.

    Kuten tunsin itsekin aikanaan (minkä myötä pidin yhtenään ja). Lopulta in tulo teki Twitteristä lähdön sitten ns. helpommaksi - se oli se aidosti periaatteelliselle ihmiselle ulkopuolelta tullut asia kimmoittamaan suhteen katkaisua.

    My fav. #FB action is: " Snooze X for 30 days".
    If the person doesn't improve*, Unfollow.
    And I'm happier than ever. In 10+ years of FB usage, I got fed up with beach photos and smart**** people like my cousin Y.

    All I'm left with** are 3-5 people, some groups, a bunch of ads and almost static*** timeline.

    I'm looking for a good way to move a few #FB pages to #Wordpress and #Fediverse. Some have 10+ years and thousands of posts.

    Forced by the UE Fakebook has a export tool, but I'm having issues with a JSON export, and anyway it does not contain shares, nor... links from the posts. This is not really accaptable.

    Question is; is there any better way to liberate this content? Preferably a free way to copy posts, with 'attached' links, images. Ideally; including shares and comments.
