This unusual platform #cairn known as Aber Camddwr lies on the banks of Nant y Moch Reservoir near Ponterwyd in #Ceredigion. It was re-discovered in 1984 when the level of the reservoir was low. After #excavation it was relocated stone by stone to its present position. It can be found along side the minor road that skirts the reservoir. #FindsFriday Photos by our member Antonine, more on our page: https://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=6393#archaeology#wales
I have a question for my fellow #archaeologists out there about #archaeology#publishing. For two years, I was part of a large #rescue#excavation project while working in a local museum. The excavations finished this year, but I resigned (for reasons outside of archaeology) from the museum at the end of last year. While I was at the museum, I was the lead archaeologist on the project. Naturally, talks have now begun about a publication of the project.
