The failure of most of the GOP candidates to affirm their devotion to the Constitution was so stunningly anti-American during this debate that I could never in good conscience vote for most of them. Most would fail to uphold their solemn oath.
1 thing both conservative and progressives generally agree upon is we all dislike, Hillary Clinton.
Not even to stop Trump would I vote for Hillary Clinton, and for the record, I do not vote to stop other people. I vote for the person I believe will do the best job, and that sometimes means voting for someone else, including 3rd or 4th parties.
You want to stop someone? Give me someone I will want to vote for.
I have been hearing Hillary Clinton's named dropped more frequently of late, and I have simultaneously been hearing how "unpopular" Joe Biden is, while also hearing how we supposedly need to stop, Donald Trump.
I know where this seems to be going. - Do not go there.
We can do so much better. We deserve so much better. And more importantly, there are many of us who want so much better.
Excellent multi dimensional analysis of the #Ukraine war.
The invading Russian forces are now fighting a defensive war. #Putin hopes the defensive strategy currently employed by #Russia will provide enough time for political conditions to change in the West.
Putin dreams of a #Trump#Election2024 victory and the emergence of more #RightWing political victories in democratic Europe. Fracturing the #Biden coalition is Putin’s only hope
Really curious if the GOP keeps this as their official platform in 2024 and how it works out for them and if the #BothSidesAreBad people that never vote choose to make an exception now that it's gotten so hot since they didn't bother voting before.
The financiers of No Labels are voting their checkbooks. They have little concern for American #democracy. They believe that they can control Trump. Worked well in #Germany 1932
Dems have to devote resources that could be used for GOTV or whatever to protect (both parties') election officials from belligerent idiots riled up by their GOP opponents.
"States removed more than 19 million people—or about 8.5% of the registered U.S. electorate—from voter rolls between the 2020 and 2022 electoral cycles, often via flawed practices that prevent many eligible persons from exercising their right to vote"
I’m starting to wonder where I might throw my voice, energy, and money in #Election2024 Two things will help drive my decision; is #Manchin running? Will we need to and how do we beat off #NoNames?
I’ll begrudgingly help Manchin for the sake of our democracy, even though he seems more interested in attention antics.
