Long day, eh?
I got a bunch of work done early today, so we went to a craft market (not my thing), and I bought 50/50 tickets.
Drove on to another town, to buy some groceries, and when I got home, there was a message to say I won the 50/50, for the same amount as I spent on my groceries! Lucky!
I saw 2 eagles sitting in my backyard, reached for my camera, capturing .... Unlucky!

You've all seen my morning sunrise photos (2 hours away) and the backyard trees that always photobomb my images?
Well, a big #eagle sat on that tree last evening, and I dashed for my camera. I could see right in his eye from the second floor window. I was so excited, fumbling tripod & camera .. just as he flew away. <sigh>
Rare to have them IN my yard, they are always out on the water or on island trees. Two sat on my shore once, never on my house or trees.
Good for photos, bad for cats..

Here, we see the giant extinct #Kangaroo (red and tan) found in #Queensland#Australia. Its along side a 1.8m tall person holding at #Koala and #wedgetailed#eagle. There's also the previous record holder #Procoptodon (dark tan) on the other side.
