After lunch yesterday, we went to the #HistoryOfScienceMuseum in #Oxford. It’s not very big but contains some really fascinating exhibits. It is right next to the #SheldonianTheatre and well worth a visit.
This wooden box contains some immaculate #brass#DrawingInstruments. Another rarity these days but I do remember learning how to use similar #instruments while studying at university.
Many people don't understand why I chose to play the Horn... and particularly why I chose to try to make a career of it. Well, it started in grade school, at Miller Elementary School. We got to choose instruments in 4th grade. I chose Trumpet or Drums. They went alphabetically, and by the time they got to me (H)... Trumpets and Drums were gone.
Love this beautifully sinuous animalistic brass door pull on a Victorian townhouse in the west end of Glasgow. I've no idea if it's original or not, but it looks like it's been there for some time.
In #Nucleum we are building networks and powering our buildings. Big expert game with a lot of interaction. If #Barrage and #Brass had a baby it might be this game. Very tactical game, because the others will more then once destroy your plans. #boardgames#Brettspiele
So, what's everybody's favorite source for sheet music these days? I've recently started playing an instrument again and I'm running short on material. Arban's is great but I'm getting bored.
Gathering for the parade last Saturday! It’s quite hot in Austin right now, but we had two big coolers full of water so we made it through without any issues. I really love doing parades, we have a lot of fun!

Ever wonder what Danny Elfman did before he wrote movie soundtracks?...
