Learned today that Belfast City Council gave planning permission for three apartment blocks on the waters edge at the Titanic Building. So the view of the Titanic Building across the water from Clarendon Dock will soon be no more. And more importantly, visitors to the Titanic Building will now have a view of apartments rather than central Belfast.
The obligatory crane photo. The two landmark cranes - “Goliath” and “Samson” - in the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast.
They’ve been moved close together to accommodate a huge ship in the dry dock making for a rare photo opportunity 😎
