TV+ down for anyone else? I’m getting “there’s a problem loading this content” on my TV, and the TV app on macOS just bounces back to the menu if I try to play any TV+ content. #Pachinko creator Soo Hugh has signed a multi-year overall deal with #AppleTVPlus to develop new projects for the streamer, in addition to continuing as showrunner for Pachinko.
Season 2 of Pachinko is expected to premiere on Apple TV+ later this year.

Trying Season 4 starts streaming on AppleTV+ on May 22nd. The first drop will consist of two episodes, followed by one more every Wednesday until July 3rd.
If you haven’t watched S1-3 of Trying, you are missing out. I liked it way more than other comedies on AppleTV+, such as Ted Lasso (I didn’t finish S2 if that).
#AppleTVPlus has ordered a new golf comedy series starring Owen Wilson.
The series follows Pryce Cahill (Wilson), an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After he gets fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife walks out on him, Pryce hedges his bets entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom.

Also Twin Peaks habe ich geliebt. Sie fand es einfach nur grotesk. Constellation finde ich auch grotesk.
Aber ich mag ja auch Grotesken. 😊
🇬🇧 I just finished watching the first season of #TedLasso and I must say it was great! I shied away from this series for a long time, because firstly I thought it was some lousy comedy, and then that it was a series about soccer, which I'm not fond of. It turns out that, despite everything, the topic of soccer is almost a side issue, and the series itself, in terms of humor, I liked delectably. #AppleTVPlus

Długo wzbraniałem się przed tym serialem, bo najpierw myślałem, że to jakaś nędzna komedia, a potem, że to serial o piłce nożnej, za którą nie przepadam. Okazuje się, że mimo wszystko temat piłki nożnej jest niemalże poboczny, a sam serial pod względem humoru wybornie przypadł mi do gustu. #AppleTVPlus
So, die letzte Folge von Infiltration (Original: Invasion) ist geschafft. Die mit Abstand schlechteste Serie, die ich bislang auf Apple TV+ gesehen habe. Ganz klar keine Empfehlung.
#DropsOfGod ist ja absolut fantastisch! Ein Musterbeispiel dafür, wie man aus einem vermeintlich langweiligen Thema wie #Weinkultur und #somelier eine #Serie macht, die man am liebsten in einem durchgucken würde.
Das Verhältnis von Quantität zu Qualität ist bei #AppleTvPlus mit Abstand am besten. Noch keine einzige Serie da gesehen, die ich nicht super fand.
For the past couple of years, I have been watching TV shows and movies on the iPad.
The worst thing to happen to me was the introduction of multitasking. Since then, whenever there is a slow part in the movie, I would open a social media app and scroll. And then, if I found something good, I would stop the show.
A 2-hour show takes me about six hours to watch over a week or so.
With vision in theater mode, I found myself without any desire to multitask and can now finish shows on time.
@kkolakowski@Migueldeicaza was watching the first episode of Constellation today (~1h) on #appletvplus and the battery was down to 78%. I think that it’s more like ~3,5h if you watch something in the official TV app.
(Disney drains battery like crazy esp. when you’re in one of their environments)
Just wrapped up Season 4 of #ForAllMankind over lunch today. I feel like it got a some hate, but I enjoyed it. This feels like a series I would rewatch someday.
