The drama series follows a mystery after an NYU student is shot in Central Park, and later discovered to be the critical connection between a series of citywide fires.
Silo episode 1 is good. It’s a long time since I read the Wool books it’s adapted from (the Wool is the cloth given to people sent outside to clean the surface monitoring cameras).
Silo is a better name than Wool for the adaptation.
I wonder how far into the story arc they’ll get. I can’t say more due to spoilers obviously.
Anyway, it’s a keeper and didn’t disappoint this fan of the books.
My wife and I are watching the recently released "Drops of God" series on #AppleTVPlus (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15282746/). It is well-crafted and we thoroughly enjoy it so far. The show's manga roots are evident in its character development and storyline, which we find captivating. My partner typically isn't a fan of Manga or Anime, so her interest in the series has been a pleasant surprise 👌🏽
Season 2 of #Severance is facing significant delays after a falling out between co-showrunners #DanErickson and #MarkFriedman, per a new report from Puck News.
Script issues and ballooning per-episode budgets were also cited as concerning.
Regardless, #AppleTVPlus is considering greenlighting 2 additional seasons, and has enlisted #HouseOfCards creator #BeauWillimon to assist with showrunning going forward.
I’m running out of #sports to watch. It’s the #NFL off-season, college basketball is over, the Milwaukee Bucks got knocked out of the #NBA playoffs, and there are only 5 games left in the #Bundesliga.
I’m considering picking up a subscription to #MLS on #AppleTVPlus or starting to watch #MLB Friday Night #Baseball, just to get my weekly fix.
The comedy series, starring #SethRogen & #RoseByrne, explores the inner workings of platonic friendship between childhood best friends who reconnect as adults & try to mend the rift that led to their falling out.
