The Whitefish Point Lighthouse on Lake Superior is a must-see in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Only a few visitors after the recent snowfall, the view was pristine. Against the backdrop of a bright blue sky, the white lighthouse with its red roof stood out beautifully. It was a winter wonderland.
It is finally snowing again here and this time it may stay for a while, at least according to the weather forecast.
To honour the occasion here is another image from last week’s photo trip…
Winter was starting to recede in Wisconsin and spring was still 20 days away. Despite the time of year, I was surprised to still see so much ice on the shore of Lake Michigan. The rising sun cast a beautiful reflection on the icy water's surface.
A stunning view of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia, adorned with a fresh layer of snow after a late winter snowfall. I love how our eyes are automatically drawn to the area where the tracks in the snow disappear. This photograph has the potential to beautifully enhance any space as wall art or be imprinted on various items available in my shop.
