With Sam Kerr out due to a long-term ACL injury and Mia Fishel looking unlikely to be the complete answer to filling that void, this could be just the signing Chelsea need to keep the season on track in the WSL and UWCL.
@rnkn If it’s useful and portable to #Windows users as well I would prefer #Perl. Not everyone can or wants to install #WSL or some other compatibility layer.
Also, it is very difficult to avoid #bash-isms or dependencies on non-#POSIX tools creeping into a #shell script, especially if you accept others’ contributions. (“Everybody has #GNU coreutils!”) There are tools and tests to mitigate this, but then you might want to automate them… and #Perl has way better testing tools.
I've been tasked to upgrade another inherited #drupal 9 site to 10, apply a some major updates to the existing theme, and stage it on #pantheon
As-is, none of the contrib modules had been defined in its #composer#json config, and it has quite a few complex added features and content types that may no longer be required. Let's see how this goes! 😎
😬 fwiw, this #drupal 9.3 to10 upgrade was all done with a #WAMP dev environment in Windoze 11, #git for #windows with the little git Bash terminal, #vscode, manually installing the latest cacert.pem, and #dbeaver for creating backups at each major step. I'm OS ambidextrous, having been a datacenter tech and sysadmin, and always with a #linux vm running for various tools as well as #wsl. I just think most people believe this can't all be done on win.

In response to Microsoft's announcement of a "copilot" key to launch their AI engine*, I am working on a line of keyboards that includes a DF key, which when pressed, will insert a context appropriate image of a dumpster fire into whatever you are working on. If you are working on code, it will do nothing, since it's probably already a dumpster fire.
*if it really were truly AI, wouldn't it already know that you needed its help?

Got SSH #Yubikey logins working natively in Windows Terminal. Pretty slick vs depending on #Kleopatra and Remote Desktop Manager (slow) But still think processes are... Unclear. So, when you create the key, it requires a Yubikey PIN. But when you use it to login, the PIN isn't needed. Guessing it's a setting somewhere. Honestly one thing I thank #Microsoft for is adding #WSL to #Windows and giving us the new (still ugly but better) terminal for me to use shiny #Linux distros on it for dev work which ended up enticing me to move over to Linux entirely, and it was honestly the best decision I've ever made. No matter what, I can never go back to Windows, I genuinely couldn't - it'd be too big of a downgrade in every way (that matters).
