Struggled to install #PostmarketOS on my OnePlus6, I think due to an android-tools issue. Then - to my delight - found that the #UbuntuTouch installer had it as one of the options and it worked perfectly.

My heart is bleeding. After 9 years using Ubuntu Touch on my main phone, I'll switch to a degoogled Android version. Too much services I regulary use implemented an app only policy or at least an only all features available if using the app policy, which kind of sucks. I ended up having two phones, but that sucks also. So in the end, I gave up.
However, thank you ubports for your ongoing efforts and hard work. I'll continue to support you financially and hope to come back to UT.

Android-Geräte enthalten oft sehr viele Apps, die sich weder deinstallieren noch deaktivieren lassen. Debloater-Software kann den Weg aus der "Bloatware-Hölle" erleichtern.

Sowohl #LineageOS als auch #eOS u.a. haben inzwischen auch ihr eigenes Custom Recovery , was zT nicht so viel kann wie TWRP, aber wohl stabiler funktioniert.
Der #UbuntuTouch -Installer ist tatsächlich eigentlich die einfachste Variante der Installation.
Wenn das Problem aber beim Koppeln liegt, könntest Du noch probieren: 1. anderes Kabel, andere USB-Buchse 2. nicht über den Terminal-Befehl ins fastboot bzw. Recovery booten (funktioniert nach meiner Erfahrung fast nie), sondern über die (gerätespezifsche) Tastenkombination (meist Leiser/Lauter + Power) @gnulinux
wow the #Volla tablet looks amazing if you're looking for a #Linux (#VollaOS or #UbuntuTouch) powered tablet, but oh my, the marketing video is so cringe! Corporate people randomly smiling at the camera? People using the tablet, all by themselves, in the front seat of their car? "It's not a product, it's a statement"? Dude, you don't have to pretend you're Apple, chill out 😆
My #Fairphone3 arrives on Wednesday. Looking forward to running #UbuntuTouch on it as a test case for viability of ethical phone for kids that helps dodge the worst of mobile apps, behaviours, tracking etc
