Thurs, the #medical ctr, a UTexas teaching #hospital, said it had found evidence a #doctor in its liver transplant prg had effectively denied patients transplants by changing recs. Ofcls ID’d the dr as Bynon, who is employed by U #Texas#Health#Science Ctr & has lead Mem Hermann’s abdominal transplant prg since 2011.
It was not clear what could have motivated Dr. Bynon to possibly tamper w/the records.…

He said there were about 20k people living in and around the #hospital, one bathroom per 200 people (#riots break out over access), everyone has the "Gaza cough" and all of the hallways are filled with people lying on cots, sheets, or just the floor, amidst the constant noise of Israeli #drones and #bombing.

This is no comment on the #SNP corruption case, which is rightfully investigated, but - #Sunak’s corruption is orders of magnitude higher than #Surgeon’s, with much more severe consequences for the planet.
The SNP case appears as an indictment of Scottish nationalism, while the Tories’ move seems to self-justify might-makes-right politics. Ideology at its finest.
I think the next time I need #surgery and meet a new surgeon I will take a load of clothing that needs mending and some thread and needles and treat the examination as an interview and have the #surgeon show me their work in action. #MedMastodon
